2021 Nissan Rogue Sport

The Nissan Rogue Sport packs a punch in the compact crossover market, mixing and matching features from multiple classes of vehicles to build a reliable and attractive car perfect for city driving. Here are six amazing features of the 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport.

1. ProPILOT Assist

Nissan’s ProPILOT Assist takes the hard work out of driving on highways by using sensors to maintain lane position and distance and using smart cruise control to maintain speed during travel. The Intelligent Mobility feature is able to detect road traffic signs so that you are made aware of changes in conditions and speeds that you might have missed yourself. The feature will also track your steering patterns and alert you to take a break before you get too drowsy.

2. Fuel Economy

Getting up to 32 mpg on the highway is rare, but that’s what you get when driving the Rogue Sport. The Xtronic CVT makes you feel as if you are driving a sports car while also getting great mileage.

3. Performance and Handling

The standard 2.0 L DOHC 16-valve engine offers the perfect amount of power for city driving, while the optional intelligent all-wheel drive mode can keep you safe during poor weather and road conditions by enhancing reaction times. With the addition of Active Ride Control, the Rogue Sport gives you a smooth ride through any bumps in the road.

4. Interior Tech

The technology that is packed inside the interior of the Rogue Sport is probably the best thing about the vehicle.

Driver Panel

A digital screen sits between the speedometer and tachometer, providing essential information right in front of your eyes. The panel shows the distance between your car and the car in front so you can maintain a safe following distance. Navigation directions are also available so you no longer have to look away from the road when trying to find a place. Hands-free text messaging from the panel can be done as well as manage your Bluetooth music playlist.

Nissan Connect

Nissan Connect integrates with Android Auto, Apple Car Play, and Alexa on the 7″ touchscreen panel located in the center console. Maps and camera views can be accessed from the panel, and if you get into a crash that deploys the airbags, the Nissan Connect system can call for emergency services and roadside assistance automatically. The system also allows you to lock and unlock and remotely start, all from your phone.

5. Nissan Safety Shield 360

Nissan’s Safety Shield system monitors the entirety of the vehicle’s outside. The system includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection to prevent a collision and reduce potential damage. Reversing is made safer with the rear sensors and automatic braking system so that you don’t reverse into a person or an item. Blind-Spot Warning and Rear Cross-Traffic alerts can also prevent accidents before they occur.

6. Flexible Cargo Space

20 cubic ft of boot space is available in the Nissan Rogue, but if you fold the rear seats down, an additional 33 cubic ft of space to fit all of your groceries and toys. There is additional space in the underfloor compartment for anything you want to stay extra safe.
