1. Children’s Museum of La Crosse

3. Shenanigans

4. Mt. LaCrosse Ski Resort
When winter comes, take the family to Mt. LaCrosse Ski Resort to play in the snow. The base elevation begins at 594 feet with the summit elevation being 1,110 feet. Mt. LaCrosse boasts the longest ski run in Wisconsin at 5,300 feet long. You can ski along the 4 miles of slopes with a nice mix of beginner, intermediate, advanced, and expert runs to choose from.
All ages can take ski and snowboard lessons from the experts. The resort offers special lessons for tots ages 2 to 5, kids ages 6 to 10, and lessons for those who are 10 years and older. If you like to race, you can join the racing league with special programs for young kids, high school students, and adults. Rent ski and snowboard equipment or have yours repaired at the Mt. LaCrosse pro shop.
